fontforge-dbg software package provides debugging symbols for fontforge, you can install in your Debian 7 (Wheezy) by running the commands given below on the terminal,
$ sudo apt-get update $ sudo apt-get install fontforge-dbg
fontforge-dbg is installed in your system.
Make ensure the fontforge-dbg package were installed using the commands given below,
$ sudo dpkg-query -l | grep fontforge-dbg *
You will get with fontforge-dbg package name, version, architecture and description in a table
